Residual Form

2025
Installation
9 ft × 5 ft
Repurposed plastics, aluminum

This installation marks the beginning of an extension of my mural practice into three-dimensional space, translating gestures, scale, and surface from the wall into a sculptural form. Working with repurposed plastics and aluminum, the piece explores transformation and material memory, reconfiguring discarded materials with precision and intention.

By bridging mural-making and installation, the work initiates a continuity across my practice, collapsing distinctions between image, surface, and structure. At the same time, it stands alone as a self-contained object—an architectural presence that invites sustained viewing and physical proximity, independent of site-specific context.
